I love going to dance clubs (the ones that play hip-hop or reggaeton) and I consider myself a very good dancer for these types of music, but at these clubs I notice how the guys just get behind a girl and start grinding. It works sometimes, but also creeps the girls out and I don't like doing it. I have tried just tapping them on the shoulder and either asking for a dance or saying, "let's dance." but that doesn't usually work either.
Smile, extend your hand, and lead her to the dance floor. Remember that 90/10 rule from "Hitch"? Well, it works when dancing. I wrote a post about this somewhere. Do a search for it on my blog.
I have read your posts and am going to try to not worry about the phone numbers or chasing them around. (Plus it doesn't work anyways. My girlfriends who I go with to the clubs always get some guy that dances really good so they give him their number to either make him go away or because he could shake it. And he won't leave them alone either and usually ends up being psycho.)
The main difference between you and those guys, is that 50% of them have a chance to sleep with the girl, while you give yourself a 0% chance. Always go for it. But I do agree, you shouldn't chase women around.
Anyways, what are some good techniques to just dancing with the girls? I don't think suddenly grinding them from the back or even asking them are good enough. And you can't talk to them beforehand like you do, Assanova, because in these clubs it is impossible to hear over the loud ass music. (By the way these clubs have a lot of college girls and 18-low twenties. But I had a hot mom with kids almost as old as me really into me once by eyefucking me but idk didn't feel like going for it).
